Katamaran Hotel & Resort Lombok

I have been to 50 countries and about 200 hotels. This was one of the best. - beautiful hotel complex, not too big, not too small - amazing pools, cleaned daily - fantastic breakfast buffet, fresh and delicious options - stunning sunsets - superb gym, never seen a better one in a hotel! - exceptional staff, from the cleaning crew all the way up to the hotel manager - spacious, sparkling clean rooms (even the bed sheets are changed daily) - fast, reliable WiFi - semi private beach (you could technically walk up the beach from another hotel but its the last one before a cliff so only from one side) and reef, perfect for snorkeling (turtles!) - plenty of sunbeds by the pools - True, it's on the pricey side but here you definitely get what you pay for which is an exceptional stay - The area which the resort is located in doesn't offer much in itself, but you can easily rent a scooter from the place across the street and then it only takes a couple minutes to reach gorgeous beaches, authentic local food stands, mini markets and so on; if you want to go on trips to the Gilis or Secret Gilis, this place is basically smack in middle from the airport, so also a plus because the drive will never be longer than 90 minutes

Amazing pool! View from room excellent. Excellent breakfast. Gym very good for a hotel. Clean room. Staff on reception very friendly and attentive.

Set on a perfect, quiet beach with an incredible complex of unique pools. Perfect, reasonably priced Spa with airy treatment rooms overlooking the ocean. I had a pedicure, two Thai massages, and one of their signature massages. All of the treatments were excellent. Kliff Restaurant has a very special setting up the hill, with amazing sunset views. I liked that we could walk to various other small boutique resorts down the beach if we wanted to try other restaurants. All of the staff were incredibly helpful. We did three of our excursions booked through the hotel and they were amazing. Highly recommend the Gili Islands snorkeling tour and the Sendang Gile waterfalls tour.

I cannot fault this hotel. We travelled as two families, 4 adults and four kids under 10. Stayed in the Premier King room which a very generously sized, beach view and a stunning view of Mt Agung!! The room was super comfortable with all the amenities . We had bought a tonne of fruits from the markets which the hotel kept in their restaurant fridge and cut them up and sent to our room upon request - the staff are very helpful. The pools at the hotel are all located within minutes of all the rooms and are beach facing. The beach is so beautiful with clear water. Few rocks here and there but nothing dangerous. I would bring water shoes next time just for comfort. The tide pools are excellent for the little ones. The mini mart is located at about 10 min walk outside the hotel and a bigger supermarket is just a few mins drive by GRAB. There are also several hotels along the beach including Quinci villas which is only 10 mins walk if you want more food options even though the hotels restaurants are amazing! We also took a day trip from the hotel to the Gilis, which is only a 30-40min boat ride. The hotel has an outdoor playground for kids which a great. It takes about an hour to get to the hotel from the airport but it's so worth it!!
